garden tool rack

Hello, my name is Nicolas and im going to explain you and give you some tip before purchase your garden tool rack.

Dont you feel tired of having all your garden tools over all the garage, or having troubles to find them?. Well, use to have all this problems, in fact., ive tried to stack them all on a corner but it always looked like mess. So i decided to buy a rack to have all my garden tools organized, in one comfy corner.

I went to the store i realizad there was a lot of garden tool rack, diferente types and sizes, first I thought in all my garden tools and then i tried to pick one..
To start there is two type garden tool racks, the one who you attach to the wall and the other one which is like a table with holes.
Personally i prefer the wall one, because it gives you free useful space on the floor, maybe to put your lawn mower or other kind of big tools.

This kind of rack have an adventage too, we are talking about dangerous tools, you know sharp edges, wich could be result of injuries usually with kids. With this rack you are not going to have to worry about, because if you attach it on a high distance from the floor, kids wouldn’t reach it.

They are made of plasic, steel and even wood, wich is going to make your enviroment more “gardening” or natural. Some ones come in disarmed parts, wich means that you need to assamble it, but don’t worry its easy and fast.

It doesn’t really matter wich type of garden tool rack you are going to choose, you need to worry about if your rack have the enough holes for your tools and if really support the weight of them, like shovels, racks, etc.

On ebay you can find garden tool racks with nice prices, they usually cost between 15$ and 50$ the normal ones, the big ones cost 50$ and more. All depend on the size and materials. If you want a rack for life, buy a steel one, if you don’t have too much money just buy a plastic one it doesn’t really matter is going to be there for years!

Conclusion:

Big garden tools and many garden tools > floor garden tool rack.

Not many garden tools, space, child protection > wall garden tool rack.

That was my experience, i hope you enjoyed my review, good luck.

garden tool shed

When we think in a garden tool shed we imagine a small house in a corner of our garden, well, practically this is his function, a house for your garden tools. Chosing a garden shed is going to depend of the size of your yard, how many tools you are going to store in it and of corse, your taste to select one.

In the market theres is a huge diferent types of sheds, maded of wood, plasctic, metal, etc. To start lets select a size, the most common sheds comes in sizes of 2x1 and 2x2.
Take a look to your garden tools before, and think in the future tools that you are going to have. To all that tools you must to add a free space to get inside and be abe to move.
If you have a small yard feel free to buy a shed of 1x1, is going to fit ok.
After, you must to choose if your are going to buy a premade or made one.

Most of them doesn’t have floor or window, so beware before purchase.
The prefabricated ones are usually the bests, but they are a lot more expensives. They are maded of wood wichs is going to looks really nice in the garden, because his natural look. They cost around 250$+ on ebay.
The plastic and metal ones are less atractive than the wood ones, but they have a durability for life. This adventage makes them a little more expensive than the wood ones, going around 300$+.

If you don’t really like the sheds that the market offers you, make one! There is a lot of manuals that you can buy just for 5 bucks, and teach you how to make sheds of any sizes, types and materials. They teach you decorative techniques to apply too.
Sheds for example use to be a place where kids play, so maybe you want to make a bigger shed with a little more decorative aspect than a place to store tools.

I hope you liked, bye.

We has seen what a garden tool rack is for, then are you asking yourself, what is the difference between a garden tool holder?

Practically both are the same object, i mean, both have the same function, but the difference is that the holder have a diferent mechanism, ill explain you.

A garden tool holder comes with a rail wich have spots to hang your tools like shovels, raks, broom, wooden axes, big hammers, etc.
This simple system is designed to be attached on the wall, it comes with wood screws and drywall anchors. Made of steel is going to have a durability for life and no rusty risk.
There is other kind of holder too, more smallers to hang small tools like any kind of keys, drilers,
Another adventage that have this garden tool holder is the elegant design when you have the tools on the wall, like trophies of your beautiful garden. “you like my garden? Thats becasue i take care of it, see my tools on the wall.”
If you are one of those people who likes to be loved, your rather get one of this instead a garden tool rack.
On the market we can find a lot of diferent prices. All depends of how many tools do you have, usualy they cost between 15$ and 20$, the only problem comes if you have a lot of tools, because is going to ocupate more wall and you are going to need buy another one.

If you really like carperting or your are a creative person, i recommend you make it by yourself, its pretty easy and fun. Just need a table, a couple of bolts in form gancho and some screws. I don’t think i need to explain you how to make it right? Anyways ill tell you.

First you need a table, could be a regtangle one or if you prefer make a garden tool holder for small tools, a square one. Take a driller and make the holes for the screws with a distance beetween 10cm for big tools and 3 or 2 other for small tools. Then you need to atornillar the bolts, this kind of bolts in form of hook can be founded in any ferreteria. And that’s it, easy uh? Surelly you are not going to expend more than 5 bucks here, even less if you already have a piece of wood around.

I hope you enjoy this article, see you next time.

Nicolas.
